The 4th annual TPM Asia, Asia's Global Container Conference, took place on 19-20 October 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel Shenzhen, China. Once again senior level decision makers gathered at Asia's leading container event to debate issues facing the container industry for trade - Trans-Pacific; Asia-Europe; and Intra-Asia

This conference addressed issues head on with keynote speakers, roundtable discussions and formal presentations.

Ashley Craig participated in the following workshop:

Container shipping regulatory update. An update on the rapidly approaching Jan. 1 implementation of “EU-24”, also known as European Regulation 1875, similar to the U.S. 24-hour rule, under which manifest information will have to be submitted to European nation customs authorities 24 hours prior to vessel sailing from the foreign port. This session also provided an update on efforts to repeal anti-trust immunity in the U.S.; Legislation has been introduced in the U.S. Congress calling for a wholly new regulatory structure for liner shipping in all U.S. trades, including the trans-Pacific.
