This event has already occurred.
Audio-conference

This discussion will address the importance of a company's anti-harassment policy and an employer's obligations when there has been an incident of sexual harassment.  Also included is an examination of other types of unlawful harassment under both federal and state law and an analysis of actual court cases.

Attendees will learn more on what California law governs the area of sexual and other forms of unlawful harassment; what are an employer's responsibilities when presented with a situation where harassment may have occurred; can an employer be held responsible for harassment by a supervisor, an agent, a rank-and-file employee or someone who is not its employee; can supervisors and managers be held personally liable or is only the employer liable; and what liabilities does an employer face if it fails to conduct an investigation of suspect harassment.
