Sarah Johnson and Josh Kaufman will present “Estate Planning for the Artist and Art Collector” to the Estate Planning Committee of the DC Bar Taxation Section on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
This presentation will review the income, gift and estate tax rules applicable to charitable and non-charitable transfers of art during life and at death, and will also discuss valuation issues and copyright law. The presentation will include practical, non-tax considerations, illustrated by real-world examples from one of the country’s leading attorneys in art law.
