"Contribution Limits and the Supreme Court" for the American League of Lobbyists

This event has already occurred.

The Supreme Court announced it would hear the case of McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission dealing with the constitutionality of aggregate contribution limits.

Join the American League of Lobbyists and Ron Jacobs on Tuesday, March 5th at 10 AM to get an overview of the:

  • Background on the case (what are the biennial contribution limits, and how do they apply in this age of unlimited contributions to super PACs);
  • Arguments from each side;
  • Different ways the Court may resolve the case; and
  • What impact this decision could have on other campaign finance laws.

The focus of this presentation will be on what a decision one way or the other could mean and the practical implications going forward. There will be a brief Q&A at the conclusion of the presentation. Also, at the end of the webinar, a one-pager will be provided to all participants to use to educate clients and stakeholders on this important case.

Registration is complimentary for ALL Members and $50 for nonmembers.
