Annual Washington, DC Association Law Symposium
Washington, DC Convention Center
This session will focus on recent and future tax developments for associations. The Internal Revenue Service has been very active on exempt organization issues in recent years and its Work Plan for this year indicates more of the same. From executive compensation, self-declarers and group exemption activities to the unrelated business income tax and international activities, there are a number of changes that could make life more complicated for association executives and counsel. Also, Congress has begun focusing on major tax reform proposals that could have a significant impact on associations. Join us as we take a deeper look into these topics and any other hot-off-the-presses tax issues that may arise.
