This event has already occurred.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Mike Signorelli of Venable’s Data Privacy Practice met with representatives from the Nomura Research Institute, which is acting under the direction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan. The Ministry is evaluating multistakeholder processes for developing voluntary codes of conduct for mobile app transparency.

The Japanese delegation met with Mr. Signorelli to learn more about successful multistakeholder processes including the Digital Advertising Alliance’s efforts to self-regulate mobile and web viewing data.
