The Air Force has launched an innovative pilot program to promote communication with disappointed offerors with the aim of reducing bid protests as merely a fact-finding strategy.  We will have Air Force counsel explain how the pilot works, and an attorney who has been through the process representing a contractor will also share his experience.  We will also discuss both from the government and practitioners’ perspective how effective the Air Force program has been and whether other agencies might use it effectively. Whether corporate or government counsel, you will want to consider how to leverage this Air Force concept in your own practice.

Speakers
Christy Barry, Acquisition Litigation/ADR Attorney, AF/JAQ
Jessica Mailman, Associate General Counsel, U.S. Air Force Office of General Counsel
Tom Papson, Adjunct Professor at George Washington University Law School
Becky Pearson, Partner, Venable LLP
