On October 21, 2015, Venable hosted a webinar with the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers on program-related investments and other strategies for charities to make a meaningful impact on the economic landscape of large cities. The panel, "Revitalizing Our Cities – How Foundations and Grantmakers Can Invest in a Better Economic Future," addressed legal and practical considerations for foundations, including case studies, and highlighted current priority areas for some of the cities at the forefront of these efforts. Robert Waldman served as moderator and Yosef Ziffer served as a panelist, along with Tracy Kartye, Director, Social Investments at The Annie E. Casey Foundation, and Otis Rolley, President & CEO at the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation.
