Ari Rothman presented "Sanchez v. Valencia Holding Co.: Arbitration Agreements Remain Alive and Well in California" to the California State Bar Cyberspace Law Committee on November 10, 2015.

The California Supreme Court's recent decision, Sanchez v. Valencia Holding Co., 61 Cal.4th 899 (2015), held that the Federal Arbitration Act preempts the Consumers Legal Remedies Act's ban on class action waivers, and upheld other modern day arbitration clauses based on long standing legal principles. Ari Rothman analyzed the decision and its underlying legal principles during this CLE presentation.
