Peter Frechette participated on a panel at the American Conference Institute’s 15th National Forum on Prepaid Card Compliance in San Francisco, CA on June 2, 2016. His panel included partners from competitor law firms and covered potential issues arising from amendments to Regulation Z under TILA and the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009. Panel topics included the functionality of prepaid accounts with credit features and their intersection with payday lending as well as steps that program managers and issuers are taking, or planning on taking, to ensure compliance with the amendments.
