Featured guest lecturer Andrew Currie presents "Introduction to Bankruptcy 101" as part of the spring 2016 course "A Seminar in Corporate Restructuring," taught by Mark Weinsweig, the founder of Weinsweig Advisors LLC, and Mark Spragg, a senior managing director at FTI Consulting. Mr. Currie's lecture provides an overview of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process, including zone of solvency, board issues, historical context, reasons for filing, the pros and cons of filing, DIP loans, and operational strategies, among other topics.
