US Tax Aspects of the Foreign Business Activities of Trusts and Estates

Grace Chung participated in the panel, "US Tax Aspects of the Foreign Business Activities of Trusts and Estates" at the 2019 Fall Tax Meeting. She addressed the topic of trusts and estates that own closely held businesses with international operations following the 2017 Tax Act. The panelists addressed check-the-box elections for pass-through entities, foreign business activities of domestic corporations, anti-deferral rules for foreign corporations, and management of DNI and UNI of foreign trusts.
