On January 22, partner Ha Kung Wong will be presenting at Informa's Specialty Therapies and Biosimilars Congress at the Novotel Miami Brickell Hotel. His panel, "Biosimilars Contested Proceedings, Litigation and Patent Law," will cover such topics as the history of biosimilars and the market effect of new products; progress through real-world evidence and recent determinations; and assessing barriers to entry through existing litigation and recent determinations in biosimilar versus innovative drug cases.
On January 24, Ha Kung will be speaking on a panel, "Ask the Experts – Roundtable Discussions." Some of the topics covered in this panel include legal and regulatory themes in biosimilars and biologics; assessing barriers to success from a health system's perspective; and considering pricing models for complex and costly therapies, including value-based contracting and other price models.
