Trade disputes, complex sourcing and origination questions, exclusion applicability, and related issues continue to complicate the supply chain. The recent renewed focus by the U.S. government on sanctions compliance in the transportation industry only adds further complications. Establishing a tariff tracking and mitigation program, performing due diligence, and ensuring that subcontractors are pushing these requirements down throughout the supply chain is an ongoing juggling act.
