The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the importance of cybersecurity as more companies and organizations attempt to pivot to a remote work environment and secure their networks. Unfortunately, there are numerous recent examples of nonprofit organizations that have failed to adequately secure their new “work from home” capabilities, have fallen for fraud schemes, or were not protected against ransomware. In this webinar, a panel of experienced cybersecurity professionals will discuss strategies nonprofit organizations can incorporate to mitigate cybersecurity risk through the implementation of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework and other risk management initiatives. The panel will also provide an overview of both U.S. and international cybersecurity trends for 2020 and recap developments in the cybersecurity field that are relevant to the nonprofit sector.
