To celebrate Women’s History Month, join us for a conversation with Jill Wine-Banks, an MSNBC legal analyst, speaker, and author. Together with Venable partner Courtney Sullivan, Jill will explore her new book, The Watergate Girl, which details her experiences as the only woman on the team that prosecuted the highest-ranking White House officials involved in the Watergate scandal. Dubbed the “mini-skirted lawyer,” Jill will also discuss beginning her career as the first woman to serve as an organized crime prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice and will offer a glimpse of some of the challenges and absurdities she endured as a young working woman.
We hope you can join us for a conversation that is sure to provide a fascinating insight into the struggles professional women faced in the all too recent past and the progress we have made since.
