Gianna Cricco-Lizza and Ralph Dengler presented an “IP Law Primer” for the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) on April 27, 2022. Venable partnered with the GACC to host seven German-based startups as part of the GACC Startup Entrepreneurship Program in New York (STEP NYC). The boot camp is a four-day strategy development program supporting promising German startups and their expansion to the United States. Venable hosted the companies for a networking lunch and a session providing an overview of intellectual property in the United States, trade secrets, U.S. and foreign trademarks, and copyrights. Diane Masal coordinated all of the logistics for the presentation and visit.
