Webinar

To recognize Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join us for a conversation with Glenn Magpantay, former executive director of the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance and professor in Asian American studies at Hunter College. With hate crimes against the AAPI community on the rise, particularly since the start of the coronavirus crisis, Glenn will address the discrimination and disinformation that are fueling these attacks. Glenn will also explore the history of Asian migration to the United States, the contributions and successes of Asian Americans over the centuries, and the challenges this community continues to face.

We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a thoughtful exploration of the complex and compelling Asian/Pacific American experience.
