Venable partner Kyle Scherer will present “Protecting Attorney-Client and Other Privileges” at the Special Institute of Litigating an Energy, Natural Resources, or Environmental Case, to be hosted by the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law on May 5, 2022 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
This presentation will identify potentially applicable privileges within a litigation context and discuss how clients can maintain privileges through disclosing information to experts, insurance carriers, or other third parties. Additional topics to be covered include actions and disclosures that may lead to loss of privilege, how to avoid such concerns, and best practices for developing a privilege log when required.
