Venable attorneys Ron Jacobs and Janice Ryan will present “Introduction to Political Law: Campaign Finance, Lobbying Disclosure, and Gift and Ethics Rules for Beginners,” hosted by Lawline on January 11.
Interacting with government officials and candidates is a highly regulated area of the law. This course is the first in a series that will explore the different rules that apply when interacting with candidates. This overview of campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, and gift and ethics rules will explain the framework for political compliance law and provide an introduction. Future courses will do deeper dives into these different topics.
