On May 4, 2023, Julie Michalski co-presented “Global Compliance Strategy and Advocacy: Regulatory Developments Regarding PFAS, Antimicrobials, Sustainability Parameters and Green Claims” at the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) IMPACT2023 Mid-Year Meeting at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. This panel discussion focused on updated global compliance strategies and advocacy for PFAS and antimicrobials, including a comparison of active availability in the EU and U.S., as well as the new EPA framework for nanomaterials, criteria for specific products’ sustainability assessment in the EU, and developments in green claims in both the EU and the U.S.
