Venable senior director for cybersecurity services John Banghart will present “European Cybersecurity Regulatory Landscape” at the Gateway to Security 2023 Health-ISAC European Summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia on October 18, 2023.
Regulatory experts from the United States and the European Union will provide an update on upcoming cybersecurity laws and regulations in the European Union that will affect Health-ISAC members. The focus of the presentation will be to outline the major upcoming laws and regulations and then compare and contrast them, to highlight the various approaches being taken in different parts of the world. Issue areas will include incident reporting, information sharing, cloud, AI, and vulnerability disclosure. The presentation will include an examination of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the NIS2 Directive, and other relevant legislation.
