Ryan Lapine spoke on “NFTs Insights and Trends: New Developments and Continuing Landscape,” hosted by the Practicing Law Institute (PLI).
As part of this years’ “Technotainment” 2023: Distributing Content Across Multiple Platforms, Ryan discussed NFTs becoming a big business, and both the types of NFTs and the market for them, which continue to grow. The segment addressed legal issues associated with the development and expansion of NFTs, and the potential application of existing laws to NFTs. Participants left with an understanding of recent NFT developments and the role of lawyers in advising on business, technical, and structural decisions relating to NFTs.
