On Thursday, February 29, Grace Lee and Janice Gregerson will present “Balancing the Scales: Navigating Student Misconduct, Investigations, and Discipline” at the 2024 National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Annual Conference in St. Louis. This session will cover strategies for and insights into handling student misconduct, including how to determine when and how to get involved; how to conduct an internal or external investigation; how to manage parent emotions and expectations; and how to assess the various types of actions the school can take to minimize the impact on the school community and individual students involved, and mitigate liability.
