Fred Wagner is attending the 2024 Asphalt Institute Spring Meeting in New Orleans and will participate as a speaker for the "Health, Safety & Environment Seminar" held on April 9, beginning at 1:30 p.m. This will be an update on Environmental Justice/Title VI developments, and Fred will cover the following:
- Ways to address EJ concerns to avoid any environmental/civil rights challenges
- How to address such challenges if they arise
- Legal developments in this area following the Supreme Court's college admission ruling and other recent legal challenges to the government's authority under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act
