IRS Exams and Revocation of Tax-Exempt Status – What Nonprofits Need to Know and How to Be Prepared

Reported threats to nonprofit organizations’ tax-exempt status have been widely circulated in recent weeks. Join Venable Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group co-chairs, George Constantine and Janice Ryan, for an informative discussion about the IRS examination process, including on how to prepare for future examinations, what an organization should do when it is informed of an impending examination, what to do during an examination, and what to do if an examination results in an adverse determination.
