On November 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., John Harras will speak on a panel, “That's a (Possible) Dealbreaker: Collectively Bargained Benefits,” for the NYC Bar Association. This hybrid event will be held in person with a live webcast of the panel presentation and will focus on common issues that arise during deals, including retiree health coverage for life; union pension obligations, including ERISA withdrawal liability; and the buyer's obligation to bargain with seller's union over terms of employment.
