Alex Koff to Lecture Georgetown MBA Students in the Global Experience Program on January 13

This event has already occurred.

On Tuesday, January 13, Alex will lecture full-time MBA students enrolled in the Global Experience program at Georgetown. The students are focused on Vietnam and are conducting projects for companies engaged in international business with the United States.  Some 26 years ago, Alex served as the legal advisor on an economic technical assistance project sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he helped normalize economic relations between the United States and Vietnam 25 years after the fall of Saigon.  He lived in Hanoi starting in January 2000, and President Clinton made his historic trip to the country at the end of November 2000.  Alex returned to the United States at the end of December 2000.  His talk at Georgetown focuses on Vietnam, the U.S.-Vietnam bilateral trade agreement, and predictions and lessons regarding Vietnam as a place for U.S. business.
