Venable attorney Liz Lowe will be participating in a panel, “Tariff Turmoil: Finding a Path Forward,” during JOC’s Breakbulk 2026 conference.
Reacting and adjusting to a barrage of unpredictable tariff announcements compounded by a highly fluid and unpredictable environment of policy changes and customs rules amendments has created a fluctuating set of challenges for cargo shippers. The largest factor affecting many shippers, U.S. importers in particular, is the ever-changing tariff landscape. This panel will deal with U.S. tariffs—as they stand on April 21. Panelists will discuss how shippers are dealing with this constantly shifting situation and the way it is affecting vendors, clients, and wider markets.
