Stronger Together: Supporting Organizations That Help Keep Our Communities Healthy

Venable is proud to be a positive presence in the cities where it has offices. Working, living, and raising our families in these communities, we have become committed to their health and well-being. This is why, in many regions, the Venable Foundation supports healthcare organizations and those providing health-related services, including a new grant to fund neurosurgery research and the five organizations highlighted below.

Spotlight: Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery

The Venable Foundation recently announced a five-year, $500,000 grant to create the Venable Fund for Neurosurgery Research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The fund will support the Department of Neurosurgery's nationally recognized brain tumor treatment and research program.

"We are proud to support the important work led by Johns Hopkins' neurosurgeons and neuroscientists," said Bob Waldman, president of the Venable Foundation. "Their ongoing commitment to and research in support of this cause have made an indelible mark on impacted families, friends, and communities."

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is consistently recognized among the nation's best hospitals and is home to a top-ranked school of medicine and groundbreaking medical researchers. Venable is proud to share its birthplace with the institution, and everyone at our offices in Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Delaware is fortunate to have access to the world-class care it provides.

"We hope that this fund will contribute to further learning and the development of effective treatments," Waldman said.
