Before joining Venable, Sarah gained valuable knowledge and experience as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Elizabeth T. Clement and the Honorable Justice Noah P. Hood on the Michigan Supreme Court. While in law school, Sarah gained exposure to various regulatory industries through government internships with the Michigan Executive Office of the Governor and the Department of Justice Office of Legal Policy. She honed her legal research and writing skills as the editor-in-chief of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law and as a student attorney in the Civil Rights Litigation Clinic. Before law school, Sarah worked in marketing and development in the nonprofit sector, where she helped to develop fundraising campaigns, social media content, and stakeholder communication.
