Taylor conducts sexual harassment and workplace misconduct investigations on behalf of educational institutions and corporate entities. She also assists clients with a broad range of workplace litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims under both federal and state laws.
Taylor counsels employers on personnel and workplace issues, including drafting employee handbooks, paid leave policies, and separation agreements, among other issues. She also advises employers and educational institutions on compliance-related issues for the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act of 1988, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), Title IX and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other federal and New York state and city laws.
Taylor's practice is informed by her experience as a legal intern with the NLRB Region 29 where she conducted investigations, researched and drafted memoranda on matters related to labor relations, took affidavits from charging parties, and prepared written reports with recommendations for the regional director.
