Andrew Bradshaw

Patent Agent

Andrew Bradshaw helps clients in the technology, manufacturing, and transportation industries navigate U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) processes to patent new technologies. Andrew draws on his varied industry experience with mechanical and electrical arts to help clients with the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Before joining Venable, he was a patent agent at a national law firm, where he assisted with freedom to operate and patentability searches, among other prosecution matters.

Andrew began his career working in both mechanical and electrical engineering roles within an international defense and aerospace company. There, he cultivated his technical skills and knowledge, contributing to electronic test benches for aircraft radar, cryogenic test equipment for superconductors, and rocket pneumatic and hydraulic systems. As an engineer, he contributed to the successful integration and launch of four rockets to the International Space Station.
