Cassandra W. Brumback


Cassandra Brumback focuses her practice on litigation for labor and employment matters. As a litigator, negotiator, and trusted advisor, Cassandra helps clients navigate the full spectrum of workplace dynamics and disputes. She has drafted deposition questions, habeus corpus petition responses, briefs, discovery motions, and memoranda for a range of matters, including real property, healthcare, and commercial litigation. As a Venable summer associate, Cassandra drafted a memorandum analyzing the strength of nuisance and civil conspiracy claims in a class action suit.

During law school, Cassandra gained trial experience through internships at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. In these positions, she observed court proceedings, researched case law, drafted bench memoranda, and edited judicial opinions. Cassandra also has experience in antitrust, corporate law, and trust and estate planning.
