Jared has assisted in the resolution of several high-impact legal issues, including the applicability of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements to foreign financial institutions, the president’s power to seize foreign assets following an act of war, and the arbitrability of disputes involving foreign state-owned enterprises under French law. As an intern at a French business law firm, Jared assisted in substantive legal research, drafting litigation documents, and responding to client communications. Jared also served as an intern at multiple federal courts, where he assisted in drafting bench memoranda, orders, and opinions.
Jared is committed to giving back to the Chicago community. He regularly participates in pro bono matters and provides volunteer tutoring services to Chicago public school students.
