Marie A. Bauer

Marie Bauer focuses her practice on matters related to bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Marie’s experience includes conducting in-depth legal research and analysis, drafting motions, facilitating discovery, and performing investigations. She also has more than eight years of experience navigating state and federal court systems. As a former police officer, Marie takes pride in being a source of strength and support during difficult times. Her passion for advocacy began when she served in the Domestic Violence Unit. During that time, she learned the value of not only responding competently to problems but also finding solutions to prevent them in the future.

Marie is dedicated to promoting diversity in the legal profession. While in law school, she was selected as a Rose Zetzer Fellow upon demonstrating a strong intellectual interest in and commitment to women and leadership issues. She also served as class representative for OutLaw, a student organization dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ law student community. She is an organized and responsive team player who is capable of undertaking complex projects.
