Nicole E. Feldman

Associate

Nicole Feldman practices commercial litigation, including breach of contract actions and other civil litigation matters. Nicole also assists with the discovery process in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigations. She is skilled at conducting legal research and at drafting complaints and other legal memoranda, as evidenced by two Excellence for the Future Awards she received from the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) during law school. She further honed her research skills as a Venable summer associate conducting extensive legal research on matters such as contractual indemnification, state lien waiver requirements, and statutes of repose in construction law.

Nicole demonstrated a commitment to client service as a licensed student attorney for the University of Illinois College of Law Veterans Legal Clinic, where she helped clients obtain orders of protection and assisted with a variety of family law matters, including drafting and negotiating parenting plans. She also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. As an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, Nicole was actively involved in criminal justice issues, both as a teacher's assistant for a juvenile and criminal justice course, and as a member of the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program.
