Sarah E. Fisher

Sarah gives practical counsel rooted in her hands-on experience. Prior to earning her law degree, Sarah worked at Venable as a nonprofit services analyst. In this role, she oversaw nationwide charitable solicitation registration compliance for high-profile clients and gained a keen understanding of the unique regulatory challenges facing today's tax-exempt organizations.

Sarah also draws from her time as a term law clerk to the Honorable John A. Gibney, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, to help clients navigate high-stakes legal questions. As a law clerk to Judge Gibney, Sarah worked on civil and criminal matters in the "Rocket Docket," from filing through final disposition; served as lead law clerk on multiple federal criminal trials; and drafted opinions for both the district court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
