José González López represents clients in matters related to intellectual property (IP) litigation in the technology industry. José brings a background in engineering to his litigation practice. Prior to law school, he was an advanced integration engineer and developer at a medical device software company. José has drafted non-disclosure agreements for IP protection and performed patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation investigations, copyrightability analysis for database and software copyrights, and license and assignment agreements. He also has experience drafting provisional patent applications for filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and performing trademark, patentability, collection, and clearance searches.
