While earning his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, Aristides served as co-president of the Accounting Society. While at Georgetown, Aristides participated in the business school’s international programs, studying International Finance and Comparative Strategic Management in Oxford, England and completing a consulting project for a family-owned winery in Mendoza, Argentina. As a result, Aristides offers a global perspective and an ability to understand cross-border industries and issues.
In law school, Aristides served as president of the Tax Law Society and as a member The George Washington University Law Review’s editorial board. As production editor, he audited all editors’ weekly production assignments and saw the editorial process through to the layout stage, ensuring a clean final publication. Aristides is detail oriented, ensuring precision and clarity in the matters he handles. While on the law review, he researched and wrote on the tax implications of the social media influencer economy and the resurgence it has brought in barter transactions and in-kind exchanges. Aristides enjoys following current events and considering how revenue collection agencies and the legislature may respond through changes in tax policy.
