Kyla J. Hale


Kyla Hale assists high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners with crafting comprehensive estate plans to implement wealth transfer strategies, safeguard assets, minimize tax exposure, and preserve legacies for future generations. Kyla also handles all stages of trust and estate administration, including guiding trustees through the intricate process of administering trusts and estates with complex assets, assisting clients in navigating fiduciary duties, and fulfilling legal obligations to beneficiaries.

Before joining Venable, Kyla focused her practice on estate planning for LGBTQ+ individuals and families, providing tailored estate planning solutions that reflect the diverse needs and family structures of LBGTQ+ clients. Kyla also dedicated years of practice to navigating the legal framework governing guardianship and conservatorship matters and served as court-appointed counsel for the Contra Costa County Superior Court, where she represented minors in guardianship actions and adult conservatees in conservatorship matters. Kyla prioritizes open communication, empathy, and collaboration in her interactions with clients and is committed to ensuring that all clients receive comprehensive and inclusive legal counsel.
