Nelson M. Hua

Nelson Hua represents clients in commercial dispute, patent infringement, trade secret, product liability, class action, and data privacy matters. Nelson focuses on cases involving a variety of technological subject matters and has extensive experience litigating complex disputes. He collaborates with clients’ in-house counsel and non-legal personnel to understand their needs, provide advice, and prepare witnesses. He is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, expert discovery, defending and taking depositions, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, and trial preparation and practice. When cases go to trial, Nelson is skilled at examining witnesses and navigating difficult evidentiary issues.

Nelson has worked on cases involving technologies and tech-related issues such as systems-on-chips (SoCs), LED displays, cellular communications, digital rights and streaming systems, water filtration devices, and information management systems. Within the healthcare realm, he has experience with mobile health applications, smart fitness equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
