Aharon Kaslow

Aharon Kaslow advises clients on a variety of federal, state, and tribal environmental, natural resources, land use, environmental justice, and litigation matters. Aharon is adept at handling all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial motions to appeals, and has vast experience drafting and responding to pleadings and substantive motions. He also has deep knowledge of Native American law, having advised tribal entities on regulatory issues and resolved disputes concerning tribal affiliation pre-litigation. Aharon is a lineal descendant of the Ione Band of Miwok Indians and a descendant of the Pit River Tribe.

Before joining Venable, Aharon cultivated his experience in complex commercial litigation at a top international litigation law firm and at one of the nation's top boutique trial litigation firms. In these roles, he has represented clients in employment disputes, mediations, and white collar matters in state and federal courts.

  • Achieved dismissal of property boundary lawsuit against clients as lead counsel in mediation
  • Served as lead attorney in an immigration dispute resulting in asylum granted to a client and their child
  • Sustained a demurrer in a real estate dispute, resulting in dismissal of the client
  • Sustained a demurrer in a partnership dispute, resulting in numerous claims being dismissed
  • Sustained a demurrer in an employment dispute concerning sexual harassment and wage and hour claims
  • Granted a preliminary injunction for misappropriation of trade secrets in a federal dispute concerning a mobile banking application
  • Represented an individual in a high-profile Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation resulting in no action against the client
