Cassidi has also drafted an Office Action Response for a toy manufacturing company seeking trademark registration.

Prior to joining Venable, Cassidi served as editor in chief of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law, where she was first exposed to the entertainment and sports industries. As editor in chief, Cassidi met with key legal players, including the Golden State Warriors' in-house counsel, sparking an interest in these fields and bringing her to Los Angeles. While in law school, she sought to provide direct legal assistance within the greater Los Angeles community, working alongside Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, where she drafted U-Visa and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) client declarations, presented to more than 90 advocates on disability benefits, and filed a consumer complaint to the attorney general and Department of Consumer Business Affairs.
