Hubert F. Ning

Associate

Hubert Ning focuses his practice on intellectual property (IP) litigation, with an emphasis on technology industries. Hubert has also assisted his team in white collar and regulatory compliance matters. He has conducted substantive legal research on a host of legal matters, including trademark rescission rights during bankruptcy, artificial intelligence (AI) patent rights, and foreign asset seizure. In his practice, Hubert also draws on his background in electrical and computer engineering, as well as his unique experience working with a wide range of technologies, from satellites to software applications.

At Notre Dame Law School, Hubert served as the editor in chief of the Journal of Legislation. In that role, he helped publish articles written by industry experts and legal scholars, organized a symposium on AI legislation, and hosted a fireside chat with a U.S. senator. Hubert was also a student associate with the Notre Dame Law School Exoneration Justice Clinic, where he assisted wrongfully convicted individuals with their post-conviction relief petitions and litigation matters before state trial courts, state appellate courts, and the Supreme Court of Indiana.
