Venable first entered the New York market in 2005 when it combined with Heard & O’Toole, a commercial litigation firm. The New York office has continued to grow steadily by expanding its service offering and improving capabilities in practice areas where we can help our clients thrive. Following the addition of a real estate group focused on construction, land use, and development in 2012, our combination with Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, one of the world’s leading technology firms, in 2018, and the addition of a construction law group in 2020, we are now one of the largest law firms in the city.
