Oyenbade Morenike

Morenike Oyebade advises clients on commercial litigation matters and provides organizations with business-oriented legal research. With a background in health data analysis and an understanding of nuanced healthcare issues, Morenike helps clients navigate complex legal issues and craft smart solutions with the broader implications of litigation top of mind. During law school, as a research assistant for George Washington University law faculty, she compiled articles, edited drafts, developed materials, and wrote memoranda, delving into complex topics, including Section 230 of the Communications Act of 1934, state data privacy regulations, and healthcare.

Before joining Venable, Morenike served as the first judicial extern for the Honorable Ana C. Reyes, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia, where she gained invaluable insights into the judicial process. In law school, she honed her writing skills as the senior board editor on The George Washington Law Review.

Morenike is deeply committed to legal advocacy and passionate about addressing racial disparities in health. At GW Law, she served as a student attorney in the Civil and Human Rights Law Clinic, simultaneously advancing the legislative and policy agenda of the clinic's clients and co-developing guiding principles regarding businesses' interactions with human rights and internet freedoms.
