Barbara Tolbert advises clients on U.S. and international tax issues, including structuring inbound and outbound transactions, corporate reorganizations, business integrations, and other tax-efficient global strategies. Prior to joining Venable, Barbara was in-house tax counsel for a leading global technology company and gained valuable experience within Big Four international tax teams. Barbara has developed a deep understanding of how to align sophisticated tax planning with commercial and operational objectives, and skillfully engages with clients and stakeholders across business sectors.
