Frank Vinik advises clients on challenging employment situations involving hiring, compensation, background checks, diversity, and more. Frank has decades of experience working with schools and colleges on employee relations, discipline and termination, and disability and religious accommodations, with particular experience in Title IX matters. He has advised dozens of schools and colleges on student sexual violence, harassment, involuntary withdrawal, and expulsion. At the Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education (DOE), he routinely investigated complaints of harassment and discrimination against schools and colleges. He has conducted more than 100 investigations of alleged misconduct by employees and students.
Frank has written more than a dozen published articles on education and employment law issues. He has also drafted employee policies and handbooks, severance agreements, vendor contracts, employee contracts, and liability waivers. Frank's background in litigation includes drafting motions and briefs and managing more than 100 lawsuits for a specialty insurer of colleges and independent schools.
