Victoria Villella focuses on civil and commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including soft intellectual property (IP) matters involving copyright, trademark, and rights of publicity. Victoria assists with breach of contract claims, trade secret disputes, property tax matters, and tort causes of action. She has experience in civil litigation, including initial pleadings, discovery (including expert and fact depositions), motions practice, and appellate work. Victoria has represented plaintiffs and defendants in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. Drawing on her entertainment background, Victoria brings practical business perspective and legal analysis to demanding, high-visibility disputes.

Victoria's experience in large-scale entertainment distribution prior to law school equips her with unique insights into navigating high-stakes corporate matters, a skill set she applies to her legal work today. As a summer associate at Venable, Victoria contributed valuable research on agency enforcement actions and IP issues. During law school, she honed her legal research and writing skills as editor in chief of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law and as a senior staffer on the Intellectual Property Brief.
